Colour Theory in 3D

I had teamed up with Huiyu, Jun, May and Raymond for the new assignment given - 3D Colour Theory. We decided to use origami rose tree idea as our final product. We were given two weeks to complete the assignment and present it on the presentation day. We divided our works accordingly - Jun folded sakura flowers and leaves, May folded birds, Huiyu and I folded the roses while Raymond arranged them accordingly into the tree branches that Jun had prepared earlier. We also had a tutorial class with Ms. Lisa to show our progress on our works.

A rough sketch of the origami rose tree

12 colours that we chose to use that matches the colour wheel

Some trial that we used to fold sakura and bird by using unwanted colour paper

On the day before the presentation, Monday, 4 of us stayed at campus's POD room to set up our work. We shared the room with other groups as well as they were also busy setting up their assignments. After setting up the flowers and birds, we found that the branches were still quite empty with spaces, so we decided to fold more origami roses and animals to fill up the spaces.

In the progress......

the stripes used to fill up the spaces and to be able to write wishes on it

Secondary and tertiary branches

As time passed by, we finished our setting up by the time of 12.30 a.m. We were tired but happy and satisfied as well as we managed to accomplish the assignment without any major accidents.
On the next day, the presentation started at 11.45 a.m. We presented our ideas to Ms. Lisa and many stopped by to write down their wishes of the year.

FINAL PRODUCT ^^

Another group's work ^^ I really enjoy the time with my coursemates. Happy Time ^^
